About Us
Echelon Financial Management was founded by Scott Ellis. Prior to
founding Echelon, Scott was, for nine years, a corporate officer for
early stage technology companies. Prior to that, he spent eight years
working for a division of a Japanese multi-national food company,
spending time throughout Asia as part of his responsibilities. Scott
culminated his tenure by directing the production activities of a
division with over $97 million in sales in 1997.
Scott received a B.A. in International Trade and Foreign Investment
from the University of Washington. Complementing his studies, Scott
participated in the Executive Education Program at the University of
Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is currently enrolled as a candidate in the
Certified Financial Planner program (CFP®).
